If you are transitioning out of residential treatment, or perhaps new to substance abuse treatment, our outpatient services might be the right fit for you.
Lund offers a variety of outpatient, community-based substance abuse treatment services for pregnant women and young parents in Chittenden County. Our programs primarily focus on women, but we do serve fathers as well.
Lund’s outpatient services include:
- Screening and assessment
- Trauma and gender informed women-only group counseling
- Trauma and gender informed individual counseling
- Nursing and physician services
In connection with the Chittenden Clinic, as a spoke in the state’s Hub and Spoke system for opiate dependence treatment
- Referrals and connections to Lund’s education, adoption, and family support services, as well as other community-based supports as appropriate
As with our residential treatment, all outpatient services are trauma-informed and family-centered. We understand the mental health issues that often surround or accompany substance abuse disorders, and this informs our treatment services.
Regional Partnership Program
We know that timely access to treatment is key to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children in families where parental substance abuse is a concern, so we partner with the Department of Children and Families to provide on-the-spot substance abuse screens. Lund and DCF social workers work together on child welfare calls, and the Lund screeners may then also provide assistance to parents in taking up recommendations for further assessment and treatment.
