Lund is thrilled to announce the resounding success of the sold-out ‘Lund by the Lake’ fundraising celebration, which took place last evening at Hula in Burlington. Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Champlain, the event brought together over 240 supporters, donors, staff, and client families, all united in their commitment to creating a better future for Vermont families. We are delighted to share that we exceeded our $170,000 fundraising goal, thanks to the incredible generosity of our attendees and sponsors.
During the event, attendees witnessed the transition of leadership from Ken Schatz, Interim CEO, to Liz Gamache, Lund’s new President & CEO. The Board of Trustees and staff expressed their gratitude to Ken for his outstanding leadership during this interim period and shared their enthusiasm for the next chapter under Liz’s guidance.
This year’s ‘Lund by the Lake’ not only surpassed our fundraising goal but also showcased the power of community, connection, and the strength of the families we serve. Through engaging storytelling exhibits and moving testimonials, attendees gained a deeper understanding of the transformative impact of Lund’s work. A highlight of the evening was the heartfelt testimonial from Olivia, our client speaker, who shared her personal journey with Lund.
