Lund is proud to announce the addition of two new members to its Board of Trustees: Louise Gibbs of South Burlington, VT and Emily Smith of Colchester, VT. As a statewide provider of adoption, clinical treatment, and parent child center services, Lund’s mission is to help children thrive by empowering families to break cycles of poverty, addiction, and abuse.

Louise Gibbs

Louise is a Partner at Westview Investment Advisors, an investment management firm located in Burlington, VT. During the past decade she has contributed to the successful expansion of depth and reach of the firm. A lifelong Vermonter, she was born and raised in Shelburne and earned a degree in Economics from Saint Michael’s College. Throughout her life, Louise has been committed to meaningful community impact. Lund’s mission to ensure that every child grows up in a safe, secure, and loving family is one that Louise shares.
Emily Smith

Emily is deeply committed to strengthening systems that support children, families, and communities across Vermont. With a doctorate in lifespan developmental psychology, she has built her career around helping public health programs turn insight into action. Her work as the Director of Program Evaluation for the Division of Family and Child Health at the Vermont Department of Health, centers on listening to real voices partnering with government agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers to understand what families need, create meaningful interventions, and make sure research leads to real results. Emily is grateful to be part of the Lund community and is committed to supporting its mission to help children and families thrive with dignity, compassion, and hope.
