This month we are shining the light on Outpatient Treatment at Lund.
Lund offers family-centered and trauma-informed outpatient treatment services to clients struggling with substance use and/ or mental health challenges. Issues addressed include, but are not limited to, opiate or other drug addition, alcohol, dependence, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. We offer services to adolescents and adults, and work with both men and women, who are either pregnant or actively parenting.
Many clients who are treated at Lund for substance use and mental health disorders also have histories of trauma from physical, sexual, or emotional abuse. Our evidence-based practices involve understanding, recognizing, and being clinically responsive to the impact of trauma on an individual’s well-being. Lund’s family-centered practice also helps to address the needs and welfare of children within the family. Lund recognizes the importance of building on family strengths and wisdom to identify and enhance existing key relationships that support the family, as well as connecting with formal community resources. Our ultimate goal is to help clients attain sobriety and maintain recovery, and feel confident and balanced in their lives.
