Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.– Helen Keller
Lund is proud to work with over 58 state agencies and other nonprofit organizations every year to help bring hope to communities, opportunity to families, and family to children. We could not do the amazing work we do every year without our partners and collaborators. We really can do so much when we work together.
It would take more space than this post allows to list all of the dedicated groups and organizations we work with directly and those who support our work. Here are some highlights from across the agency:
- Lund partners with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption through the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program to find forever families for the children and young people.
- Lund is a provider of family support, and prevention services through the Department for Children and Families Children’s Integrated Services network working with the most vulnerable families in the state. This network also connects us with other amazing organizations including the Vermont Family Network, Childcare Resource, the VNA, other parent child centers across the state, and so many more.
- Lund is a spoke in the state’s Hub and Spoke Model or the Care Alliance for Opioid Dependence. Lund manages medication assisted treatment and the associated counseling and support services for parents in recovery. Lund’s clinicians work with the Chittenden Clinic at the Howard Center to provide these services.
- The United Way of Northwest Vermont not only provides program funding but helps to reinforce connections between other agencies, gives us a voice in important conversations, provides volunteers, and offers training and networking opportunities.
Having a family is a right, not a privilege. Treating someone with hope and potential for the future, rather than letting their past define them is essential. Focusing on what brings us together rather than what splits us apart builds strength for everyone. We are very grateful for our partners who share these ideals with us. Thank you.
Better Together.
