On Tuesday June 25th, we celebrated 5 years since the dedication of Lund’s Hoehl Family Building at 50 Joy Drive in South Burlington. Supporters of the campaign, including members of the steering committee, were invited back to the celebrate and learn more about what has been happening in the building over the last five years.
Board President Emily Lee addressed the crowd with a re-introduction to the space, “This building provides a safe haven for children, a hopeful opportunity for parents and caregivers, and a chance for children and parents alike to build their forever families. Life changing, life saving work happens every day at the Hoehl Family Building.”
Barbara Rachelson, Lund’s Executive Director raised a toast to the five years past and looked to the future, “We know that creating a brighter future for all children and families is a full-time responsibility, and we partner with our clients every step of the way to make it happen. We are committed to leading the way with evidence-based models and practices that will improve the lives of the children and families in Vermont. Over the next 5 years…..55 years…105 years. We look forward to taking this journey with you.”
Over the last 5 years at the Hoehl Family Building:
