Stephanie Amyot has been recognized as one of two Employees of the Quarter for Lund’s most recently completed quarter. Stephanie is shown in the top right of the screen in the picture here. She was zooming in to a recent Post Permanency team meeting from her home office – her base for providing Post Permanency Services in Windham and Windsor counties.
Stephanie shines in her role as Post Permanency Service Provider. She strives to provide the best quality direct service to her clients while also thinking about ways to create systemic change that will benefit all families formed through adoption and guardianship. Given her skills and ideas, it is hard to imagine Stephanie is only in her third year of this work! Despite having a very full caseload with many intense situations, Stephanie consistently provides high-quality services to her families. Stephanie’s work is strength-based and she meets clients where they are at. Her presence has allows families in fragile states to feel validated, supported, and hopeful.
This fall, Stephanie jumped at the opportunity to attend an out of state training on the Tuning into Teens program (TINT). By becoming certified in TINT, Stephanie becomes only one of a handful of practitioners in the US able to facilitate the TINT curriculum. Furthermore, Stephanie is working on ideas to integrate TINT curriculum throughout the state. She presented this material to other post permanence services providers across the state in January. Stephanie always keeps an eye on the “big picture” seeking to improve overall supports for VT families formed through Adoption and Guardianship. One powerful example of this is her participation on the VT Consortium for Adoption and Guardianship training committee. Her work with the consortium will have a long lasting and widespread effect on both families and providers across Vermont.
Stephanie is a leader within Lund’s Post Permanency team and also the larger state team. Stephanie is an excellent advocate and ambassador for Lund, establishing a positive reputation in her community and the state. Congratulations Stephanie on this well deserved Employee of the Quarter award!
