We are so pleased to celebrate Renata Prim, Residential Program Management Assistant, as Employee of the Quarter! Renata works at Lund’s Glen Road building keeping everything in the residential program, including admissions and referrals, running behind the scenes. She is a powerhouse for data, files, records, and systems making sure that everyone has exactly the information that they need to best support and help our clients. Renata has direct service experience in the human services field having worked at NFI Vermont as a Community Skills Worker, working one-on-one with adolescents with mental health disorders. But as her children got older she found that she wanted a more consistent schedule and so she transitioned into the administrative world and really enjoyed it. “I found that love being in a support role because it allows me to help people outside of services see the amazing work that direct staff provides. I love being first contact for women and providers in the referral process. I get to explain what our program is, and what great supports, and services we provide. And in turn hopefully help women be a little less anxious about coming to visit the program,” says Renata.
Renata has been instrumental in ensuring the smooth rollout of ETO, Lund’s new electronic health record system at the residential program. Renata’s helpful and problem solving attitude during the preparation and launch of this system was a central theme in her nomination for this award. “Renata has gone above and beyond to ensure the transition to ETO has gone smoothly. Her commitment to providing staff with immediate assistance as well as offering her help after hours has helped us to continue our work with minimal disruption. If I have a question or multiple questions she drops whatever she is currently working on to help me immediately. Whenever Renata happens to walk by my office she makes a point to check in to see if I have any questions, this can happen multiple times during the day,” says one colleague.
Being available to help and answer questions is something that many people who work with Renata appreciate every day. “Even when Renata is extremely busy (referrals, other ETO questions, etc.) she always takes the time to help me or answer questions. If she doesn’t know the answer to a question she tells me where to go. She is easy to approach and for me has made the transition to ETO easy. She is valuable resource to our team.” Another colleague sums it up very succinctly, “I really enjoy my work with Renata, she is fun, respectful, really smart and gets the job done very very well!”
Outside of work Renata enjoys sitting by the fire place with a good book or movie and being outdoors as much as possible either on her boat with her family, or sitting in the sun reading.
Thank you Renata for your willingness to help anyone at any time and your commitment to making sure that the residential program runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
