Dear Friends,
Fiscal Year 2024 was a year marked by growth and transitions, and our achievements are a testament to our dedicated staff, passionate advocates, and generous partners and donors. As the new Interim CEO and new Board Chair, we’re glad to be able to step into the new fiscal year on strong financial footing (see our FY24 financials on page 2 of the report), with all programs running smoothly; and we look forward to building on the momentum we’ve gained in the past year.
We’re excited to offer a glimpse into our FY24 impact and the stories behind our work. You’ll learn more about our Early Childhood Education Program’s “Pathways for New Americans” Training Program (on page 3) and how it’s allowed us to increase the number of childcare spots available for children in our Residential Treatment Program. You’ll also see how our Adoption and Outpatient Clinical Treatment Programs have worked more closely together in the last year to increase wraparound support for our adoptive families (on page 4).
In the last year, we also focused on enhancing our data management capabilities and centering client voices to better understand our statewide impact and drive more informed decision-making. While this recap provides highlights of our accomplishments, we look forward to being able to provide a deeper dive into our impact in the future.
Finally, we look forward to completing our strategic planning process and sharing our 3-year strategic plan with you all. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for making our work possible. Together, we will continue to grow and adapt to the needs of our community—building a brighter future for the children and families we serve.
With gratitude,
Ken Schatz (Interim CEO) & Darren Springer (Board Chair)
